By accessing or using the Cian platform and related services (the "Service") operated by Cian AI LTD ("Cian," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to `cian.cymru`, `app.cian.cymru`, `imcian.ai`, `auth.cian.cymru`, and all related applications, APIs, email infrastructure, integrations, and services.

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

By using the Service, you represent that:

  • You meet the minimum age requirement
  • You have authority to enter into these Terms
  • If acting for a business, you are authorized to bind that business to these Terms

2. Description of Service

Cian is an AI-powered inbox and communication platform.

The Service may include:

  • AI inbox agents
  • Email drafting and sending
  • Human approval workflows
  • Autonomous email workflows
  • CRM and customer memory tools
  • Knowledge file management
  • AI-readable company profiles
  • Calendar scheduling and RSVP workflows
  • Contact management
  • Team collaboration
  • Custom email domains
  • API access
  • Public and private markdown knowledge files
  • AI-assisted communication workflows

Cian is designed to help businesses and individuals manage communication workflows using AI-assisted systems.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account using supported authentication providers such as:

  • Google OAuth
  • Microsoft OAuth

By creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account
  • Keep authentication credentials secure
  • Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
  • Accept responsibility for activity under your account

We may send:

  • Product updates
  • Service announcements
  • Billing notifications
  • Feature releases
  • Usage summaries
  • Marketing communications

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.

4. Workspace & Team Accounts

The Service may support team-based workspaces with role-based permissions.

Workspace owners are responsible for:

  • Managing user access
  • Managing billing
  • Reviewing automation settings
  • Monitoring outbound communications
  • Ensuring compliance with these Terms

Workspace owners are responsible for all activity occurring within their workspace.

5. Subscription & Billing

Cian offers Free, Pro, and Enterprise plans.

Paid plans are processed using Stripe.

By subscribing, you agree to:

  • Pay applicable subscription and usage fees
  • Maintain valid payment methods
  • Accept automatic billing where applicable
  • Accept usage-based billing for applicable plans

Certain plans may include:

  • Minimum monthly fees
  • Usage-based pricing
  • API usage charges
  • AI processing charges
  • Email delivery charges

Failure to pay fees may result in:

  • Suspension of features
  • Reduced limits
  • Account restriction
  • Account termination

Unless required by law, fees are non-refundable.

6. AI Functionality

The Service uses AI systems to assist with communication workflows.

AI functionality may include:

  • Drafting emails
  • Summarizing conversations
  • Creating CRM notes
  • Suggesting calendar events
  • Organizing knowledge files
  • Recommending actions
  • Autonomous sending workflows

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • AI-generated output may be inaccurate or incomplete
  • AI systems can make mistakes
  • AI output should be reviewed where appropriate
  • You are responsible for monitoring your workflows
  • You remain responsible for communications sent through your account

Cian does not guarantee:

  • Accuracy
  • Reliability
  • Legal compliance of generated content
  • Suitability for specific business purposes

7. Autonomous Sending

Some plans may allow autonomous AI actions, including automatic outbound email sending.

By enabling autonomous workflows, you acknowledge that:

  • Emails may be sent automatically without manual review
  • AI systems may make mistakes
  • Incorrect or inappropriate emails may occasionally occur
  • You are responsible for configuring workflow rules and permissions
  • You remain legally responsible for communications sent through your account

Cian strongly recommends human review for high-risk or sensitive communications.

8. Knowledge Files

Users may create markdown-based knowledge files.

Knowledge files are private by default.

Users may choose to make files:

  • Private
  • Public
  • Unlisted

Public files may:

  • Be indexed by search engines
  • Be accessed by AI systems
  • Be cached by third parties
  • Become publicly accessible online

You are solely responsible for information you publish.

You should not publish confidential or sensitive information publicly.

9. Email Services

The Service includes inbound and outbound email functionality.

This may involve:

  • AI-generated drafts
  • Email threading
  • CRM integration
  • Calendar extraction
  • Reply suggestions
  • Attachment handling
  • Approval workflows

You acknowledge that:

  • Email delivery depends on third-party infrastructure
  • Delivery is not guaranteed
  • Spam filtering and external systems may affect deliverability
  • You are responsible for ensuring lawful email usage

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful activity
  • Send spam or unsolicited bulk communications
  • Impersonate others fraudulently
  • Use the Service for phishing or malicious activity
  • Upload malware or malicious content
  • Attempt to compromise the Service
  • Reverse engineer the platform
  • Abuse APIs or rate limits
  • Circumvent billing or usage controls
  • Use the Service to violate laws or third-party rights
  • Publish unlawful, harmful, or deceptive content

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

11. CRM & Customer Data

The Service may store CRM and customer relationship information.

You are responsible for:

  • Ensuring lawful processing of customer information
  • Obtaining any required permissions or consents
  • Managing deletion requests
  • Protecting sensitive customer data

Workspace owners may delete CRM records through the dashboard.

12. Third-Party Providers

Cian relies on third-party providers including:

13. Intellectual Property

Our Property

The Service, including software, branding, infrastructure, user interfaces, AI workflows, documentation, and APIs, is owned by Cian AI LTD and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service.

Your Property

You retain ownership of:

  • Emails
  • Knowledge files
  • CRM data
  • Uploaded content
  • Internal company information
  • Customer data

You grant Cian permission to process this information solely to provide the Service.

14. AI Training Policy

Cian does not use customer data to train generalized AI models.

This includes:

  • Emails
  • Drafts
  • Attachments
  • CRM records
  • Knowledge files
  • Customer conversations

However, project-specific or workspace-specific operational memory may be generated to improve functionality within your own workspace.

15. API Usage

Certain plans may provide API access.

You agree to:

  • Keep API credentials secure
  • Respect rate limits
  • Use APIs lawfully
  • Avoid abuse or excessive requests

We may revoke API access for abuse, security concerns, or Terms violations.

16. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

17. Service Availability

We strive to maintain reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

The Service may experience interruptions due to:

  • Maintenance
  • Infrastructure failures
  • Third-party outages
  • Security incidents
  • Force majeure events

Features and functionality may change over time.

18. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING:

  • MERCHANTABILITY
  • FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
  • NON-INFRINGEMENT
  • ACCURACY
  • RELIABILITY
  • SECURITY

We do not guarantee that:

  • AI-generated output will be accurate
  • Emails will always send successfully
  • Public files will remain private once published
  • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free

19. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

Cian AI LTD shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect damages
  • Consequential damages
  • Loss of profits
  • Loss of business opportunities
  • Data loss
  • Reputational harm
  • Email delivery failures
  • AI-generated mistakes

Our total liability arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Cian AI LTD during the 12 months preceding the claim.

20. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cian AI LTD and its officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from claims arising out of:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your communications sent through the platform
  • Your published content
  • Your violation of laws or third-party rights
  • Your misuse of autonomous AI workflows

21. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for:

  • Violations of these Terms
  • Fraudulent activity
  • Abuse of the platform
  • Non-payment
  • Security concerns
  • Harmful or unlawful activity

You may terminate your account at any time.

Deleted accounts may remain recoverable during a 30-day soft deletion period.

Certain records may be retained where legally required.

22. Modifications to the Service

We may:

  • Add or remove features
  • Modify pricing
  • Change usage limits
  • Introduce new plans
  • Modify AI providers
  • Update infrastructure

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Material changes may be communicated through:

  • Dashboard notifications
  • Updated effective dates

Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

23. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed under the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.

25. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Cian AI LTD regarding the Service.
